Harry Styles, 19, continues to cement his reputation as the biggest partier in “X Factor” U.K. boy band One Direction. On Feb. 18, 2013, he partied all night in London with 20-year-old model Cara Delevingne, according to The Sun, which published paparazzi photos of Styles coming out of a private home in London’s upscale Notting Hill district at approximately 7 a.m. GMT. Delevingne was photographed stumbling out of the home about two hours earlier.
This was after Styles spent the night partying with Delevingne and singer Rita Ora. The three stars were all seen at the bar in the VIP area for the War Child BRIT Awards Concert (headlined by Muse) at the O2 Arena. (In the United Kingdom, the minimum legal to drink alcohol is 18 years old.) Styles, Delevingne and Ora then went to the Cafe Royal Hotel for a party held by AnOther magazine and Dazed and Confused magazine. Other guests at the party included Black Eyed Peas founder Will.i.am, The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince, singer Paloma Faith, model/TV host Alexa Chung and music producer Mark Ronson.
Delevingne and Styles were seen on several dates together in the summer of 2012, but they would not confirm or deny that they were dating when they were asked about their relationship in interviews. Delevingne is a rising star in the fashion industry (she’s been called “the next Kate Moss” by some people in the media), and she’s become a regular in the tabloids for her hard-partying antics.
Styles famously moved on to dating Taylor Swift from mid-November 2012 to the first week of January 2013, but that relationship reportedly ended badly. (Styles has taken the high road by saying nice things about Swift when he is asked about her in interviews, although he won’t comment specifically on his relationship with her. Swift, 23, has not publicly talked about Styles, even when they were dating.)
Whether or not Styles and Delevingne were ever a couple, she has apparently moved on to dating other people too. Delevingne has been seen on dates with singer/songwriter Jake Bugg. But rumors are swirling that openly bisexual Delevingne is in a romance with Ora, who has been calling Delevingne her “wifey” in multiple interviews. Ora dated reality TV star Rob Kardashian in 2012, but they had a bitter breakup. After the breakup, Kardashian lashed out at Ora on Twitter by saying that she had cheated on him with several men.
Meanwhile, Styles continues to be the subject of rumors that he is secretly gay or bisexual. People have speculated that Styles and BBC Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw, 28, are more than best friends, since the two men have been photographed by paparazzi spending the night at each other’s homes and wearing each other’s clothes.
Styles has refused to publicly name anyone he has dated since January 2012, when he and “The Xtra Factor” host Caroline Flack ended their four-month fling. Styles said on Twitter that the breakup he had with Flack was a “mutual decision.” Flack (who is 33) and Styles remain friendly with each other and are sometimes seen socializing at the same parties, since they have mutual friends, such as Grimshaw.
Delevingne, Ora, Grimshaw will probably be joining Styles when he parties after the 2013 Brit Awards, which will be held at the O2 Arena on Feb. 20. One Direction is a nominee and performer at the awards show. Swift is also a nominee and performer at the show, but insiders say that One Direction and Swift plan to stay away from each other before, during and after the ceremony.
