From lavish parties to SAS help, UK plc pulled out all the stops to please Khamis Gaddafi.
Printed on gilt-edged card embossed with the Royal coat of arms, the invitation from Britain’s man in Tripoli was to the social highlight of the diplomatic calendar.
“On the occasion of the Birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Her Britannic Majesty’s Ambassador… requests the pleasure of the company of His Excellency Captain Khamis al Qadhafi at a reception on Wednesday, 16 June, 2010.” This was how Britain’s then ambassador to Libya, Richard Northern, extended the VIP treatment to Colonel Gaddafi’s feared fifth son at last year’s annual party in the ambassador’s residence overlooking Tripoli’s palm-lined seafront.
With 32 other invitees from the cream of the Libyan military, Khamis would have mixed with guests on the well-kept lawn, and been offered wine or Pimm’s — a rare diplomatic perk in a land whose ruler banned alcohol as a threat to “revolutionary society”.

Yet the rolling out of the red carpet to Col Gaddafi’s security establishment was no routine diplomatic courtesy. Documents found by The Sunday Telegraph in the now-abandoned embassy building show that Khamis and his sidekicks were on the guest list not at the behest of Mr Northern, but at the suggestion of the United Kingdom Trade and Industry Defence and Security Organisation (DSO), a Government unit dedicated to promoting British arms exports. The Khamis Brigade, named after its commander-in-chief and staffed by hard-core Gaddafi loyalists, had proved a lucrative customer.

Example: Saddam H. The US sold him huge amounts of weapons when Iraq was engaged in an 8 year war with Iran.
There have been many other instances as well. S. America is another example.

In your opinion, is Gaddafi a saint?
Gaddafi has done his fair share of murders. Be sure to check out the revolution of 1968.
Comparing, and saying, that one murderer is better than another murderer, or is in fact not a monster, is counter productive. They are all guilty of the same things, and, they are all hypocrites.
Its based on the “perception” of what they believe the sheeple will accept. That explains why the NWO has been so successful. There are fools out there who think the UN, run by the CFR, is a “good” thing. The CFR is run by the Trilateral Commission and the Club of Rome who in turn take their orders from the Biderbergs who are instructed by the inner circle of the NWO 13 ruling families who basically run world affairs. Which one “isnt” the monster?
Which of these is NOT the monster? They all are part of the same monster. Why was Blair meeting with Gaddafi? Right. Why is the Bush family in business with the Bin Laden Family”? (Carlyle Group) They are all in on it. When ever one of the top tier people gets out of line, we have an event like what is taking place in Libya.
You said; “I can assure you that it is not Gaddafi”. What do you use as your “assurance”? And, perhaps you can list a site for all of us to go to and have a look at your “assurance”.
Its smoke and mirrors…….nothing more.
Gaddafi is no better than the rest of these scum bags. Let us all remember Pan Am flight 103 the, Lockerbie, Scotland plane crash and the details that surround it. They are all monsters.

Between_the_lines: reconscoutsniper is too gutless to come out and say Ghadaffi did Lockerbie flight 103, all he will do is imply Ghaddafi did it. In fact Ghadaffi did not do it. Lockerbie was an inside job run by CIA/Mossad, and a false-flag op to blame Ghaddafi, as part of an earlier failed attempt by the Jewish International bankers to remove him.

“The Pan Am attack over Lockerbie” was not “terrorism” by Ghaddafi, but a false-flag operation by a soveriegn government. The Jewish International Bankers’ colonies of the United States and Israel, including their intelligence agencies of the CIA and Mossad, were behind it.

Ghaddafi recently threatened to nationlize Libya’s huge oil reserves. The International Bankers responded by orchestrating a “revolution” to neutralize Ghadaffi. They do it all the time and the first thing they do is to demonize the leader of a targeted country.
