I Dreamed of Germany

I wrote this song in October 2012. I remember by that time David Duke had been arrested in Cologne. Things there have gotten worse than that since then. I want to dedicate this song to the German victims raped recently in that city. May all the responsible culprits and perpetrators of this crime be punished accordingly someday soon. May we find our way through this age of darkness and false lights to a new era of truth and justice.

I Dreamed of Germany

The land of European slumber
within the Kingdom of the Blind
We sleep while countries are in shackles
Last night I dreamed of Germany
Last night I dreamed of Germany

It’s clear we shouldn’t stick together
but stay just like a family
perhaps it’s time for revolution
today I dreamed of Germany
today I dreamed of Germany

A lie is when they call it ‘freedom’
it takes a while to face the past
By guilt somebody cons the world
I dreamed another Germany
I dreamed another Germany

If shame remains now and forever
who cares how many walls may fall
A pride is due for resurrection
today I dreamed of Germany
today I dreamed of Germany

Song by J.Belenger. Released in March 2013 as part of ‘Helden Helden’.
