Tehran, Jan 31, IRNA- The World Health Organization (WHO) announced that Iran ranked second after Canada in well-timed influenza diagnosis.
Head of Communicable diseases Management Center of the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, Mohammad Mahdi Gooya said that in the wake of serious influenza wave specially H1N1 type, decision have been made to decrease the risk.
Referring to serious impact of this virus on pregnant women and high-risk groups, Gooya said that being vaccinated would be necessary for them.
He added that one central lab as well as thirteen branches are working actively in this area.
