Israeli forces arrest wife of Palestinian prisoner

Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli occupation forces arrested on Sunday Palestinian woman from Al-Dheisheh Refugee Camp, south of West Bank city of Bethlehem.

The Palestinian Prisoner Centre (PPC) said that the Israeli occupation forces stormed the house of Hanadi al-Moghrabi, searched it and arrested it after beating her children.

According to the PPC, the woman is a teacher and a mother of three children and the wife of the Palestinian prisoner Ahmed al-Moghrabi, who is spending 11 life sentences inside Israeli jails.

Credible rights sources said that the Israeli occupation prevented Al-Moghrabi from meeting her lawyer, noting that she would be unable to meet him until January 21.

Ahmed al-Moghrabi has been in the Israeli prisons since 2002. He was set to be retried today (Monday) after the arrest of his wife, but the court in the Israeli prison of Al-Masqoubiyeh adjourned his retrial.
