Awake Goy Israeli Jewish settlers’ groups called for increasing raids of Al-Aqsa Mosque during Jewish holidays which start on Thursday, Quds Press reported.
Israeli occupation authorities, Quds Press said, readied themselves to protect Israeli Jewish settlers who wish to raid Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The season of the Jewish holidays starts by September and lasts until the end of October. During the holidays, the Israeli occupation authorities fully seal off occupied territories.
Always, Israeli Jewish settlers raid Al-Aqsa Mosque in droves during the Jewish holidays, causing tension among the Palestinians.
Hundreds of extremist Jewish settlers storm the Muslim holy site to perform mythical rituals or tour the area while Muslim worshippers have had their access limited to been banned from entry at times.
On Monday, scores of extremist settlers raided Al-Aqsa Mosque through Al-Magharbeh Gate under heavy Israeli police protection and severe restriction on the access of the Palestinians to their holy site.
The Islamic Awqaf Department in Jerusalem said 69 Israeli settlers raided Al-Aqsa Mosque during the morning shift and performed mythical religious rituals there.
