Loveridge brother also facing murder charge

The older brother of the teenager accused of killing 18-year-old Thomas Kelly with a king-hit in Kings Cross is also facing a murder charge for an unrelated crime, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.

Corrie Kevin Loveridge, 19, will face a pre-trial hearing tomorrow in Penrith Local Court over the stabbing death of a teenager in western Sydney in December 2010.

Loveridge and an unnamed minor allegedly got into an argument with the victim and his older brothers on a street in North St Marys about 3.20am.

During the argument, Loveridge or the minor produced a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times, police allege.

Loveridge had just turned 18 at the time of the alleged murder.

Kieran Loveridge, 18, was charged last week over the death of Mr Kelly as well as the assaults of three other men in the popular Sydney nightclub precinct on the same night.

Mr Kelly was walking with his girlfriend and speaking on a mobile phone on July 7 when he was suddenly knocked unconscious.

He hit his head on the pavement and later died in hospital.
