Man accused of stabbing dog to death

A teenager’s been charged over the stabbing death of a dog in Queensland yesterday.

Police allege the 17-year-old boy stabbed the dog several times with a knife during an altercation with another person at Leichhardt, south west of Brisbane.

The dog was taken to a vet but died from its injuries.

The teenager’s been charged with carrying a weapon to cause fear and the unlawful killing of an animal and will face Ipswich Magistrates Court today.
