NSW cop charged over domestic incident

A senior NSW police constable has been charged over a domestic incident in Sydney’s west.

The female officer, attached to the southwest metropolitan region, was involved in the incident at a Toongabbie address at 4.45pm (AEST) on Tuesday.

She went to a local police station afterwards and was issued a court attendance notice for the offences of malicious damage and intimidation with intent to cause fear of physical or mental harm.

The officer has been bailed to appear at Parramatta Local Court on June 22.
