FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda The 2012 Olympics has given the BBC the busiest day ever for its Sport site, racking up 6.1 million unique users on Sunday in the UK, and 8.3 million globally.
“We have been testing the infrastructure and the sites we have built for the games for months using test data and streams and artificial traffic and we were really confident it would work,” BBC head of product for sport and 2012 Cait O’Riordan said in a blog post.
The BBC has also hit 1.15 million downloads for the BBC Sport Olympics app, which is available for Android and iOS.
A YouTube clip of the Queen accompanying actor Daniel Craig, playing James Bond, to the Olympics opening ceremony has been viewed over 865,000 times, the BBC said.
The major content on the BBC Sport website is supported by iPlayer, which is unavailable to people outside of the UK.
“As the official Olympic Broadcaster in the UK, the BBC geo-blocks its online content, so that video and audio streams are not available to audiences outside the UK,” a BBC spokeswoman told ZDNet.
International users cannot download the BBC Sport Olympics app. The BBC only has video rights for the UK, and BBC international websites only include text, photos and data, not audio or video, said the spokeswoman.
