Denmark’s Crown Prince Frederik and Tasmanian-born Crown Princess Mary will visit Australia later this year.
Prime Minister Julia Gillard says the the royal couple will visit Australia from November 19 to 26 as guests of the Federal Government.
The royal couple will lead a business delegation aimed at enhancing trade links in green energy, sustainable living and food technology businesses.
Ms Gillard says the couple will visit Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra.
But there was no mention in the Prime Minister’s statement of the couple visiting Tasmania.
It is their first trip to Australia since 2005.
The Crown Princess made a private trip to Tasmania in August last year to visit family in Hobart.
