Aajonus Vonderplanitz was a fake name used by a man who had a fake Ph.D., some people claimed. They said he advocated the consumption of raw, rotten meat and moldy animal organs, and that he was a key informant to Ventura and LA Counties prosecutors who were charging Sharon Palmer and James Stewart with crimes.
