LATEST: A group of rebels besieging a cluster of apartment buildings near the compound of Muammar Gaddafi said they believed the man who led Libya for four decades was hiding in the buildings with some of his sons.

Rebels were exchanging fire with Gaddafi loyalists inside the buildings. They did not say why they believed Gaddafi and his sons were inside.

“They are together. They are in a small hole,” said one of the fighters involved in the battle, Muhammad Gomaa. “Today we finish. Today we will end that.”

I don’t think that the UN would renew the resolution, after all what happened. They know it, this why this brute forces everywhere.

    You dont think so ?

Unfortunately they will do whatever they like as so called “international law” hasnt stopped them so far as they dont recognise it and the so called resolution is null and void as it has been violated so many times by those that drafted and imposed the resolution.

  10. According to Gadhafi sources, the spokesperson announced he is well and in good shape. Right after the rumours came in …

  11. a local radio-station is broadcasting live messages from Gadhafi right now. Not clear if these are records or a real live event.

  12. some of his remarks
“We must resist these enemy rats, who will be defeated thanks to the armed struggle,” he is quoted as saying in his broadcast by the AFP news agency. And he has this message for his supporters: ” “Leave your homes and liberate Tripoli.”
