Awake Goy Addressing President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Trần Đại Quang in a message, Dr. Rouhani expressed hope that the two countries’ ties be further deepened and developed.
“I sincerely congratulate Your Excellency on your re-election as the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam,” Rouhani’s message reads.
Expressing satisfaction with friendly ties between Iran and Vietnam, Rouhani hoped the two countries witness continuing and growing relations in all political, economic and cultural fields.
“I wish for the health and success of you, as well as prosperity and happiness of the people of Vietnam,” he concluded.
New President Trần Đại Quang was sworn into office in April after 91.5 per cent of the total National Assembly (NA) deputies elected him to the position by a secret ballot, vietnamnews reported.
