Scottish nuclear leak ‘will never be completely cleaned up’

Radioactive contamination that leaked for more than two decades from the Dounreay nuclear plant on the north coast of mainland Scotland will never been completely cleaned up, a Scottish government agency has admitted.

The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (Sepa) has decided to give up on its aim of returning the seabed near the plant to a “pristine condition”. To do so, it said, could cause “more harm than good”.

At a board meeting in Stirling on Tuesday, the Scottish government’s environmental watchdog opted to encourage remediation “as far as is practically achievable” but to abandon any hope of removing all the radioactive pollution from the seabed.

Tens of thousands of radioactive fuel fragments escaped from the Dounreay plant between 1963 and 1984, polluting local beaches, the coastline and the seabed. Fishing has been banned within a two-kilometre radius of the plant since 1997.

  1. Anyone who’s living in a country or state with nuclear plants or is concerned about the radiation from Japan should consider getting a water filter to protect the drinking water… I’ve linked my name to one of the best filters for the purpose.

  2. Man at his best is an absolute brute beast without Christ! Look at what he’s doing to this planet under Satan’s tutelage! The horrors will get worse while Satan is in charge! Jesus is coming to wipe him out all his followers fallen angels imps! End of story and the beginning of God’s new Heaven Earth at the end of the Millennium!

    • I agree with the statement that man is a Brute without Christ, but I disagree that Jesus is coming, for Christ is in our very thoughts, or is in the world, but the world sees it not… for they are blind and do not understand that Wisdom of God has no locality, but fills all space from everlasting to everlasting, hence God is eternal. Waiting for a man you believe to be God to come from one place and into another is saying that God has a locality. My God is always with me, anywhere I go… and I do not wait for anyone to come, but rather, I come to God “mentally” and Spiritually in my thoughts and by my acts in my life.

  3. Sleep on till Jesus Himself returns to straighten things out clean up the earth getting ready for God’s return to His planet in a huge Pyramidical Space ship 1500 miles high wide and high already in operation built by Christ for believers! This is written in Revelation 21 John 14

[1] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
[2] And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
[3] And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.!

[1] Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
[2] In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
[3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
[4] And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

    • Ok, you claim that it’s all written in the Bible. Thanks for providing the quotes but to me there’s not a lot in it that makes sense to me or has context, but you believe your ‘in the know’ about what’s going on. (I use the internet, it’s plain english)
Why is it that every religious person that goes on a rant or makes comment is always waiting for the return of God/Jesus to make things right again. (Wish they could make their mind up as to which one, or is it going to be a double act. Sorry, couldn’t help it.)
So does that mean the religious community is going to sit on their hands and do nothing, pointing their fingers at us, as events unfold saying ‘I told you so’, while they wait for the invisible man to show up?
Maybe this is why religious minorities have been persecuted for centuries. Instead of of getting off their asses, getting organised and pushing back, they sit and pray for the invisible man to save their asses?
A lot of blood has been spilt over the centuries because of religion, especially when none of it can be proven and only relies on people to have pure blind faith when it comes to things that can’t be explained or don’t make sense. “God works in mysterious ways…”
Wish I could use that one at work!
“Thou shall not kill”. Who hands out the exemptions for that comandment?
Please put the Bible down and start talking to people about the facts of what you do know and about your research. This will have a much bigger impact than waiting around and gives you something to do in the meantime.
Much more convincing than quoting stuff to people that don’t understand what the fuck your talking about. Like me.
I’m smiling as I write. I don’t want to offend you, I just want to challege your way of thinking.
      Peace to all.

  4. The life expectancy of the scots is 20 years younger than it is in London because of deliberate poisoning from nuke bases and plants, oil spills, and biological and chemical weapons testing. One small scottish island is uninhabitable because of anthrax testing.

Most scots are unaware of this of course, because ignorance is bliss, thanks to our loving mainstream media covering this up, and our globalist-controlled drug masters shipping in the herion.
