“It’s a cheap publicity stunt and it will backfire on her [President
Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner]. She has problems in her own country and she
is just trying to use anything she can to raise the issue or to keep up the
pressure on everybody.
“But it’s not putting pressure on anybody at all and if she uses this
sort of stunt at the Olympics, I can well see the Olympic authorities
throwing [Argentina] out because you are not allowed to bring any type of
politics to anything to do with the Olympics.”
