A 13-year-old boy has spent an hour trapped under a four-wheel-drive, after the vehicle hit a car, careered into a house and then pinned him to the ground.
The accident happened at Mount Colah in Sydney’s north, and Fire and Rescue New South Wales say the driver appears to have lost control.
Emergency services cut around the Honda CRV to rescue the teenager who was trapped underneath it for about an hour, and suffered injuries to his chest and pelvis and leg.
He was flown to Westmead Children’s Hospital.
The 51-year-old driver was also trapped in his vehicle and was treated at the scene for head injuries, before being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital.
