Texas School Prohibits This Veteran’s Daughters From Wearing THESE Jackets… Now He’s Ready For War

Dean James III% AMERICA’S FREEDOM FIGHTERS –

A school in Texas has come under fire for telling the daughters of a U.S. Air Force Iraq War veteran that they can’t wear their coats to school because they have a large emblem and the words “U.S. Air Force” on the back. They actually forced the 2 5th graders to take the jackets off! Unbelievable.

The school officials say that the jackets “violate the dress code.”

This isn’t sitting too well with their father, Phill Rolen and he is determined to fight!

In his Facebook post which has gone viral overnight Rolen slammed officials at Aubrey Middle School in Aubrey, Texas and is vowing to fight school officials to change their policy.

Phill’s post reads in full:

I am a former Iraq medic who served with the 332nd CASF in 2005. After taking daily fire from enemy mortar and rocket batteries, as well as treating the worst of wounds war has to offer, now my 5th grade daughters are told they cannot wear this coat which they saved up for and bought with their own money to school. The students at Aubrey ISD pledge allegiance to the American flag every morning. They can wear gaudy and tacky school apparel peddled upon them by school officials that the district profits from. But with men and women still fighting and dying in harms way our kids cant wear apparel supporting the Armed Services of the United States. I am ready for this fight Aubrey ISD. I will make it my personal mission to make the district the subject of every news media outlet in the country. The disrespect for our service branches here is amazing. Use common sense. Please spread this to every veteran you know. Aubrey Middle School’s phone number is (940) 668-0200

 at Media Trackers reports:

Aubrey is a small town of just over 2,000 people on the north end of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. According to the Aubrey Independent School District’s dress code published on its website, the students must adhere to a fairly strict dress code, and no shirt, sweater, or hoodie may contain an emblem more than one-and a-half-inches by one-and-a-half inches. The code is less clear when it comes to jackets.

“Sweaters, sweatshirts or hoodies that advertise by name, symbol, or slogan any store/designer brand are not acceptable, except those containing ONE emblem measuring no more than 1.5”x1.5,” states the code.

It is unclear how the U.S. Air Force emblem qualifies as a “designer brand.” The dress code does make it clear that shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies may contain a large Aubrey schools spirit logo. That apparel must be purchased from the school district.

When asked about how they were going to respond to the school officials, Rolen insisted that his daughters would continue to wear their coats to school. “I said that my girls were going to continue wearing the jackets,” he said.

Rolen said that the principal of Aubrey Middle School, Karen Wright, was polite when they talked, but she insisted that the coats violated the rules and said that his daughters would be punished and given detention if they continued to wear them.

“This just completely defies common sense,” Rolen added.

Robert Rich at Mad World News adds:

There is no reason that school children should not be able to show support for our brave men and women in uniform, and the fact that some adults are demanding they not, really goes to show the state our nation is in today. Active military members and veterans are heroes – they deserve to be treated as such and should have our utmost respect. When it comes to crap like this, you might as well be spitting in their faces. Disgusting.
