Could the ‘Occupy Wall Street’ movement, inadvertently precipitate the demise of some long-established American mainstream news media companies, or their conglomerate hierarchy? The thought comes off a little more than wishful thinking to me, as I absorb the news reporting having to do with the protests to date.
Be it traditional television, print or the well-known internet media companies that most people generally use for news or information, it’s clear to me at least that these powerful news outlets prefer to safely immerse themselves in a sort of conveniently contrived, self-conscious, fog of war, so to speak. And so I wonder for such reasons, if I am the only person who finds the coverage having to do with the Wall Street protesters by major media outlets, curiously lacking in detail or ability, or more importantly, in journalistic integrity.
While continuing to underestimate the disillusionment of many millions of ordinary U.S. citizens with the current condition of their republic, having basically neglected to turn up the heat on Washington D.C. politicians, multi-national corporations, mega-banks or the Federal Reserve, what if anything of relevance to such matters has the mainstream media chosen to occupy themselves with or to emphasize?
A whole lot of superficial nothingness, actually.
Currently, when they are not seeking some manner in which to politicize the protests taking place across the country, the only question applicable to ‘big media’ seems to be what it is exactly that Americans demonstrating in the streets are protesting? That obviously loaded question, seems to me, the product of some entity or another who would sooner not know the answer.

But come election time they get all their frig’n money back when the politicians purchase media time. One hand gives and the other hand takes. It’s all a big fraud to hijack representation. Commercialize those politicians and make them puke for the MSM toilet.
String up Glen Beck and the rest of Fox news’ cast of actors. Rupert Murdoch- hack em up and through him in the gutter to feed the street dogs. Any big business- tear it down. Government employees fire everyone of their stinky smelly asses from all these bullshit agencies then shut the agencies down. Geraldo Rivera – beat him senseless and through him in the gutter too.
Did anyone catch Geraldo at OWS he should have gotten stoned to death he was downplaying EVERYTHING as much at its possible. He even said when asked how many people were there “I don’t know, I’d say in the low thousands” Wtf?! How vague us that… is it 1100 or 7000? Is it more? We cannot rely on mainstream media on this one. They’re bullshitting and dancing around facts. Their strategy is to discredit the movement period. Oh I forgot they also have the agenda of picking out president. Herman Cain? Fox News is a bunch of brown nosing puss y’s. I hope they lose every viewer they have when people find out that they’ve purposely mislead the public.
Absolutely- YOU CAN NOT trust a GOD DAMN word the MSM says. VIOLENT REVOLUTION IS THE ONLY WAY.
How much do you tolls get paid to try and provocateur a violent revolution ? If violence does break out, you will be found cowering under the sofa in your mom’s basement.

I just saw on FOX NEWS that the occupy wall st. movement supports the president’s “jobs plan”….what a fucking joke. BOYCOTT THE MSM… If you don’t, then good luck to ya….
Just try to think back and remember the last time any of these ‘investigative news services’ actually ever INVESTIGATED ANYTHING. They don’t investigate, they report what their clients want them to report. They are nothing but Pubic Relations firms that pose as investigative journalists. They either report directly what is handed to them during briefings or if a story comes out that is unflattering to their clients, they run damage control if exposed information puts their clients in a bad light. They are worthless to anyone who wants to know the truth about what is going on in the world. Most anyone who has had a broadband internet connection and has had any curiosity at all over the last ten years couldn’t possibly understand things to be exactly as I have just described them. Even lazy people with no curiosity at all are coming to understand this.
