The Flower Power Conspiracy

A last goodbye to the late Dave McGowan, alternative author and researcher
The late Dave McGowan

The late Dave McGowan

Last November 22, 2015 Dave McGowan died of a very extreme form of cancer. He was probably one of the first authors questioning the 9/11 attacks when he wrote ‘Welcome To The New And Improved Police State’ article exactly the day after the events happened. He also wrote about the fake moon-landings in his series ‘Wagging The Moondoggie’, in which he described with amazing wit one of the greatest mass-media deceptions in history (this side of the aforementioned 9-11 events). Some of his most popular books included ‘Programmed to Kill’, ’Understanding the F-Word’ and ’Derailing Democracy: The America the Media Don’t Want You to See’, but this short article goes in relation with his last book published by Headpress in 2014: ‘Weird Scenes Inside The Canyon: Laurel Canyon, Covert Ops & The Dark Heart Of The Hippie Dream’. The book in question, as the title points out, talks about the monumental psy-op of the whole ‘Flower Power’ phenomenon and the manipulated Vietnam War fiasco, as well as the connection between the American military intelligence complex and most of the artists coming from the Laurel Canyon scene of the era (among them very famous musicians particularly).

Admittedly speaking Dave McGowan was not one of us. He was the type of ‘Alternative Media’ author who uses the word ‘fascist’ in a pejorative way. In fact he dropped a couple of ‘evil-nazi’ bombs in his ‘Weird Scenes Inside The Canyon’ book, though I have to say they were so disconnected from the rest of the content and so spineless that they hardly bothered me Book Coverwhen I read the whole thing. I suppose he was using the meme just for the sake of ‘drama’, to ‘spice things up’ a little so to speak. A very clumsy thing to do though, if you ask me. Also the absence of any reference to the obvious Jewish Connection (a connection which, in a sort of indirect way, becomes very apparent all through the book if one starts putting names together in the context) can turn some people off from the get-go. Though that should not be a deterrent to approach this book whatsoever.

All in all, I would highly recommend reading ‘Weird Scenes’ (specially the first half of it) for those who might be interested both in that particular period and in so-called ‘conspiracy theories’ of similar kind. I truly believe the man became a trailblazer with this particular book, which I think will become a stepping stone for those authors who in the future will investigate further into the events that happened in the America of the late 1960s, I hope from a standpoint more akin to ours. One has to remember, those who now rule over us come mostly from that particular generation, the ‘Flower Power Generation’, the ‘Baby-Boomers’. That should be quite obvious for any insightful witness. We are living in the midst of their ‘Utopia’ (Dystopia) right now.

I would also recommend listening to the man himself in his last appearance at Deanna Spingola’s show on September 28, 2014. Very interesting and entertaining show indeed.

As a final note, someone suggested that Dave McGowan could have been ‘terminated’ judging the strange suddenness of his sickness and subsequent death (there is a sort of eerie warning by a caller at the end of the radioshow). It is perfectly legitimate to think this way. I for one prefer not to get to such conclusions. If that was the case McGowan’s detective work should be of obligatory investigation even if he somewhat neglected to connect all the correct dots with the main Talmudic/Masonic conspiracy.

Dave McGowan Rest in Peace.
