The Unmentionable Holocaust

You have to remember, all the heads of the camps, all the investigators, all the prosecutors, all those who confirmed our sentences, they were all Jews.” ~ Former Gulag inmate to Simon Finch, Investigative-Journalist. The Times, January 28 2000.

Imagine, an investigative historian, who, after years of intensive research, publishes a revisionist insight into one of the 20th Century’s most blood-soaked dictators. As the reader peruses its pages he reveals that the despot was not as bad as he has been made out to be.

Interestingly, he suggests that the bloodbath has its moral equivalence in acts of genocide carried out by those who label themselves ‘the democracies.’ The roll call of victims is much reduced and the ways by which victims met their untimely ends were consequence of war’s unintended collateral effects; they were never part of a general policy of extermination.

Surprise, surprise, the scholar’s book, published by an academic publishing house, is widely and favourably reviewed. Periodicals carry favourable book reviews; universities offer awards and prizes. The celebrated scholar appears on television and radio chat shows; he is never cross-examined but is positively debated by toadying media pundits.

It would be unthinkable that our learned scholar would be vilified by media, prosecuted by the courts, imprisoned or exiled from his career. On the contrary, the learned researcher makes a small fortune as a result of his book being widely and favourably reviewed.

Is such a notion fanciful? Not at all, for this is the response to the publication of books authored by among others, American academics Greg Freeze, J. Arch Getty and Robert Thurston. The difference is that the national leader whose image these self-styled historians cosmetically enhance is not that of popular elected war hero German Chancellor Adolf Hitler; it is that of unpopular unelected Soviet dictator Joe Stalin.

When browsing mainstream media for the Soviet Union’s Joseph Stalin one looks in vain for a single critical expression. Yet, Stalin, a former bank robbing terrorist, is proven to be the worst mass killer in human history. When one uses the internet to gather information about Stalin there is an absence of the malicious epithets that invariably accompany any reference to Adolf Hitler or the Reich leadership.

One finds that whilst there is a passing reference to the Gulag, every negative is qualified by a positive. There is never mention of the aid the ‘democracies’ afforded Stalin’s regime and which sustained his notorious regime throughout its blood-stained history.

Notwithstanding this, whatever spin one puts on any account of the Soviet Union it is difficult if not impossible to manipulate the number of victims downwards. If one were to reduce the death toll of Stalin’s 1922 ~ 1953 tenure by 90% the number of victims would still be far higher that the fanciful figures ascribed to the so-called ‘Nazi holocaust’.

In the absence of publicity or criticism of all other proven acts of genocide, with the exception of one unproven one, it becomes perfectly clear that bleeding heart liberals, the media, their deceived public, and of course the hidden-hand, have no genuine compassion behind their ‘never again’ narrative. Their interest is solely the vilification of the one great social reformer who threatened plutocracy, capitalism and Communism. The entire holocaust debate is as worthless as a $2 bill and as fraudulent as an editor’s or politician’s expense account.
