Both Chi and Closer are controlled by Italian publisher Mondadori, part of the
media empire of former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and chaired by his
daughter Marina.
Marina wrote a letter to the Repubblica daily on Monday, saying the issue of
the photos was being unfairly used as yet another political attack against
her father.
