Two shootings in Sydney’s west

A home in Sydney’s west has been shot at while two adults and a teenager were inside.

A bullet penetrated the front garage door of the home in Mimosa Road, Greenacre just after 10pm on Monday, police said.

A man, woman and teenager at home at the time were not injured.

The incident follows a drive-by shooting, also in Sydney’s west on Monday, in which a man’s utility was fired at in Eschol Park.

The man was reversing his ute out of a driveway in Epping Forest Road about 8pm (AEST) when the single gunshot was fired at the vehicle’s rear.

The driver was not injured.

Crime scenes have been established at both locations.

The incidents come less than 24 hours after two young bikie gang members were shot during a dispute in western Sydney.

The pair, aged 19 and 22, were shot as two rival gangs came face to face in Priddle Street, Westmead late on Sunday night.

Both men were taken separately to Westmead Hospital for treatment, with the 19-year-old suffering a gunshot wound to his groin.

The older man was shot in the buttocks and thigh.

Both men remained in hospital on Monday afternoon and have refused to speak with police.
