I doubt they’ll actually go for the fake aliens I explained in another post but the Olympic committee were caught doing live CG particle rendering for some of the fireworks during the 2008 opening ceremony so the technology for it is available and now much improved.

The Y2K thing was obvious hyperbole from the start as very few processors would store the year as a two-byte decimal-coded number to save memory (7 binary bits would handle 128 years with no trouble for less than half the RAM) and only an idiot would make a program that would process the year in that fashion outside of temporary on-screen notification.

Messed-up leap year calculating was the only real issue and that would just mean you got your paycheck a day earlier (and missing a day’s hours) after February 28 and your diary software would think Friday the 13th was actually a Thursday.

It is interesting to note that Y2K backup computers are considered primarily responsible for maintaining services in New York and preventing a banking crisis during 9/11. That was handy!

I’d be more concerned about Y2K38 (which still wouldn’t cause planes to fall from the sky), which is a limitation of the 32-bit signed integer “UNIX time” system, currently still used by a large amount of electronic equipment (especially consumer products) and verifiable for yourself if you have a mobile phone with adjustable date.
This issue may be the real reason behind the push for 64-bit home computers and operating systems.

Yep interesting way of putting it, yes there is a problem for the year’s 2032 2038, but the y2k issue went a bit deeper than that.

the y2k scare was to force everyone to get a new computer system which used the newer onboard chipset’s, these chipset’s allow a computer to be remotely accessed through the power grid thus bypassing everyone’s security which is directed at threats from networking/broadband and dial up internet.
all of it was to be set in place before the smart grid was initiated and came online.

I disagree with Mr Watson about the y2k similar scenario. As you said at beginning of video the y2k hype was going on for months if not a year now by the time this documentary comes out it will be a week if not less until the Olympics. Seems more like a short term conditioning to the idea that aliens will arrive and bring in the nwo but it will be a hologram. Look up the tupac hologram video on YouTube he looks like he’s really there and did a concert. But maybe nothing will happen its all speculative I suppose :p

Lake Erie lights are the real thing. I dont believe in UFO’s but I’ve seen those lights last year when I lived on Lake Erie. Some videos documented them, but I’m surprised there are not more because they were everywhere last year. Not sure if they’re still there. On a clear night you could sometimes see stars or what looked to be stars moving in odd patterns, like they were dancing. Seen that twice, but what made me look was a shooting star or meteorite, both times they were accompanied with shooting stars.

My guess is it NASA doing some sort of blue beam?

Nothing will happen at these Olympic games. Then everyone will be on their heels for a fake alien attack that is going to be used to usher in a one world govt. Just a hunch.
