FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda Police in the UK have detained a man at a London airport on suspicion of ‘terrorism offences.’
British police announced on Monday that the 21-year-old man was arrested at Stansted Airport on Sunday night, when he returned to the UK on a flight from the Turkish city of Istanbul.
The man, who was taken to a police station for interrogation, is the latest among a number of people detained by counter-terrorism police at British airports in recent days.
On January 17, a man was detained at Gatwick Airport on suspicion of attending a ‘terrorist training camp’ in Syria.
On January 13, two men, both aged 21, were arrested at Heathrow Airport after coming back from Istanbul, and were charged with travelling to Syria to commit ‘terrorism.’
Police officials have urged anyone thinking about going to Syria for any reason to pay attention to warnings issued by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
According to extracts from a study by British defense consultancy IHS Jane’s published in the Daily Telegraph, some 100,000 militants are operating in Syria.
The militants have split into some 1,000 brands since the crisis began in Syria, according to the study, which is based on intelligence estimates and interviews with militants.
More than one hundred British nationals, along with militants from the US, Canada, France, and the Netherlands, have reportedly joined the foreign-backed groups in Syria.
Syria has been gripped by a deadly unrest since 2011. According to reports, the Western powers and their regional allies — especially Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey — are supporting the militants operating in Syria.
According to the United Nations, more than 100,000 people have been killed and millions of others displaced due to the violence in the Middle Eastern country.
