FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda “The goal is high. The goal is nothing less than regime change,” Franklin Lamb, a Beirut-based international lawyer, told Press TV.
He made the remarks after US media confirmed that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is helping armed gangs in Syria, operating out of Turkey with weapons smuggled through this country.
“I have little doubt that the Americans will go much further in the future as far as ratcheting up the pressure to implement its goals,” Lamb said.
He also pointed out that “the Americans, the Saudis and the Qataris” are fuelling the crisis in Syria.
Syria has been the scene of violence since March 2011. Many people, including security forces, have lost their lives in the unrest.
The West and the Syrian opposition accuse the government of killing the protesters. But Damascus blames ”outlaws, saboteurs and armed terrorist groups” for the unrest, stating that it is being orchestrated from abroad.
