An activist group that sparked the Occupy Wall Street movement has called for global protests on Saturday to demand G20 leaders impose a “Robin Hood” tax on financial transactions and currency trades.
Canada-based Adbusters wants the Occupy Wall Street protest movement against economic inequality to take to the streets to call for a 1 percent tax on such deals ahead of a November 3-4 summit of the Group of 20 leading economies in France.
“Let’s send them a clear message: We want you to slow down some of that $1.3 trillion easy money that’s sloshing around the global casino each day — enough cash to fund every social program and environmental initiative in the world,” the activist group said on its website, www.adbusters.org.
Adbusters put out the initial call for Occupy Wall Street and since protesters set up camp in a park in New York City’s financial district on September 17, they have inspired solidarity demonstrations and so-called occupations around the world.

G20 will need to rent a aircraft carrier and do there meetings on the sea with the protection of the military Empire they have created in the last 60 years.

The only thing the people have accomplished so far is lend credibility to the masters of the universe. Sitting around pretending to emulate movements which were promoted by the state department isnt going to accomplish anything but lend credibility to the speculators on wall street, that they are the ones, not the people who vote in retards to represent them, and then dont hold them accountable.

Hey didn’t Alex organize a protest, wasn’t it at the FED. Why don’t you hear him promoting it any more. I guess because it failed. maybe if he spent more time following through with his promise to his listeners and viewers it would have been successful but hes to busy criticizing OWS. instead of embracing and helping them. I guess because he didn’t organize it the people there are Obama followers, communist, socialist looking for free handouts, or his favorite welfare recipients. The more I listen to this guy the more of a wolf in sheep’s clothing I realize he really is

Poor Bart, The same people occupying against the uber rich had a few of them standing with them without repercussion. They are too stupid, as maybe you are, to figure out who the real culprits are. That would be the ones elected to not allow this but are actually running it at light speed. The same ones that do insider trading daily but don’t have to follow the same rules as us. Ask Wesley Snipes about tax evasion and then go ask all the ones in congress and appointed positions, Wesley is in jail and they aren’t.

Alex’s protest was just that, a protest. Now, if you want an armed bloodbath, that’s more like it!! Just have a good old fashioned bloodbath!! I think that’s what you were accusing AJ of not accomplishing.

This is a perfect opportunity to “Take up arms” against the Financial Elite who have raped this World. “Take Up Arms” means to get busy, contact everyone you know, everyone on your Facebook List, everyone in your neighborhood, go, go go, OCCUPY, OCCUPY, OCCUPY!!
