Downtown workers may experience casual Friday and casual Monday later this month when the NATO summit arrives.

Workers at some Chicago office towers are being encouraged to dress down to avoid being targeted by protesters during the meeting of world leaders May 20 and 21. Safety procedures in some high-rises include the recommendation that employees set aside suits, ties and anything with corporate logos.

Tenants in the office building at 1 E. Wacker Drive received a memo encouraging them to stay away from wearing suits, urging workers to “look like a protester.” A spokeswoman for Los Angeles-based CBRE Inc., which manages the building, declined to comment on any NATO security measures.

  1. And here I was thinking to go to one of these peaceful assemblies in a shirt, suit and tie in order that some observers might see that white collar workers know that the 0.01% oligarchy are out to get the 99.99%

  2. There is a whole lot more to be watching out for than people in suits. Perhaps they should all be wearing suits so they can be part of the Grand Security Theater Police State Show of Corrrupt Chicago. This is getting preposterous.

There is more people should be watching out for such as this:

Larry Silverstein, the former owner of the Twin Towers that were demolished in New York City on 9/11, purchased the Sears Tower on the day of the March 11, 2004, the same date of the terror attack in Madrid, Spain. Like the Twin Towers, the Sears Tower is a white elephant filled with asbestos that will need to be demolished in the near future in-order to comply with new building codes that strictly prohibit the toxic asbestos.

Dirty nuke? Willis Tower? False Flag Op something is up in Chicago:

The media has obtained a copy of an e-mail sent to volunteers from the Milwaukee area branch of the American Red Cross, which confirms a planned evacuation for the area related anticipated national security threats.

Wisconsin Red Cross office confirmed that officials are already taking measures to handle an emergency of epic proportions during the upcoming NATO Summit, scheduled for the week of May 20 in the city of Chicago, 70 miles to the south. In addition to armed security forces expected to begin patrolling Chicago as early as this week, authorities are now making plans to usher residents up to Milwaukee in case the planned NATO protests cause an emergency that warrants an immediate evacuation of the city, reported RT News.

(Something unusual going on here? I certainly hope inquiring minds are wrong)

  3. I live in the Chicago Area and I am in worry that NDAA and DARPA will target the profiled domestic terrorist into the RE-Edu Camps so i dont know what the turn outs going to be like. i drove through Chicago last week not much security is getting installed theres alot of delayed constructions around Obamas office. My attendance is still unknown towards the summit because of Chatter of a new 9/11 like ” Willis Tower” Having the same owner and problems as the WTC7 building, Bio attack on one of the south nuclear plants, or a Home-made Domestic Dirty Bomb at a Subway Station.

    • I made my post without even seeing yours. These evacuation plans have really gotten a lot of people wondering what all the contingency planning for a massive disaster is all about. Most important thing to convey is certain people know there are big security issues in Chicago that have a history to them.

CBS 2 News (Chicago) has obtained a copy of a Red Cross e-mail sent to volunteers in the Milwaukee area.

It said the NATO summit “may create unrest or another national security incident. The American Red Cross in southeastern Wisconsin has been asked to place a number of shelters on standby in the event of evacuation of Chicago.”

According to a chapter spokesperson, the evacuation plan is not theirs alone.

“Our direction has come from the City of Chicago and the Secret Service,” she said.

Officials at Chicago’s Office of Emergency Management and Communication said the directive did not come from them.

The U.S. Secret Service did not return calls for comment.

  4. Workers told to dress down to avoid being targeted by protesters only to be targeted by police instead… who will then appear to be fighting anarchists when they crack down on everybody as things get out of hand when the paid anarchist are rioting.

  5. Maybe some of them will get mistaken for protesters, then beat over the head
    and tazed. Lmao!!

  6. I disagree with the comments of many on this website that I’ve seen before regarding protestors. Protestors are our friends…in general, change is good. Even a bad change can be merely a precursor to a good change.

    • In spirit, you’re right. But in reality movements get hijacked and “re-aimed”. For instance, there are feds dressed as “black brigade” down on Wall St, right now, provoking violence so that the legit, peaceful protesters are discredited; and likewise fed plain-cloths show up at Tea Party rallies with Nazi flags to make their legit complains look racist. Who do you think the corporate media focuses on; the legit protesters or the Nazi flag waving, black brigade anarchist stone-throwing plants? Yup.
So, although I agree that legit protest of any kid is “good”, again, these movements are *quickly* co-opted and used to serve the establishment. A few broken windows on Wall St are much less dangerous to the military corporate war establishment, than peaceful legit protest. See? We’re living in a time of great deception. Things are not what they seem, or begin as. Cheers.

  7. You make these massive posts all over the comment section. I am not saying that many of the things you point out are not well worth the time for people to investigate and research. What I am saying is that it makes you look nutty. Do you think you might be able to address a single issue at a single time and remain generally on topic? I realize you think you are doing a lot to wake people up, while at the same time you are turning people off.
