A woman has been run down by a car and left for dead in outback Queensland.
Police found the 34-year-old woman with serious head and abdominal injuries at a property at Roma on Wednesday night.
Officers found a 60-year-old man in a vehicle a short time later.
He has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing grievous bodily harm, drink-driving and failing to seek medical help for the woman.
He will face Roma Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The woman was taken to the Roma hospital in a serious condition.
