FBI director James Comey said his conversations with police officers often come back to cellphones. He claims they’re worried that young people are recording EVERY police encounter with their cellphone cameras.
Comey said he has been told about higher-ranking police telling officers “to remember that their political leadership has no tolerance for a viral video.”
Try not to laugh but Director Comey claims the “era of viral videos” has led officers to feel they’re“under siege” and unwilling to get out of their cars…
How often have you seen a cop not get out of their car because someone is filming them? The answer, zero! They’re more likely to destroy or confiscate your cellphone because they don’t like being recorded!
In what has to be the most ironic statement of 2015 a government official says police don’t like being recorded!
Comey goes on to say cops are scared because the public is recording police encounters…
Ten ways police are spying on the public:
1.) Police dashcams
2.) Police body cams
3.) Red light cameras & license plate readers
4.) Traffic intersection cameras
5.) Highway cameras (thank the DEA)
6.) Toll booth cameras
7.) Retail surveillance cameras & bank teller cameras
8.) Courthouse cameras
9.) Transit cameras (buses, trains)
10.) Airport cameras
So the next time you hear cops whine about being spied on point out these ten facts!
