A man has been charged over a double murder in Melbourne on Friday.
The bodies of the husband and wife, both aged in their 60s, were found by friends who had gone to their Vermont South home after the woman failed to turn up for work.
Brett Anthony Smith, 32, of Vermont South has appeared before an out-of-sessions court.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court tomorrow.
