Belgian tourists visit rose water distillation workshops in Aran-bidgol

Aran-Bidgol, Kashan, April 12, IRNA – A group of Belgian tourists visited rose water distillation workshops here Monday.

Picking flowers with hands without using machines and participation of women in the whole cycle of rose water distillation ceremony is very interesting, a Belgian tourist said. She also said she was astonished to observe rose gardens in desert areas.

Roses here, known as Mohammadi roses, enjoy unique fragrance.

Mohammadi roses are planted in an area of 100 hectares of land in Aran and Bidgol townships while six traditional and two industrial workshops are engaged in distilling rosewater here.
