The Syrian Army, supported by Russia, continues to target and attack the health infrastructure in Syria's north-western city of Idlib, Anadolu Agency reports. The attacks have resulted in severe problems for cancer patients, including limited treatment and difficulty accessing necessary medication. The conditions in Idlib have made it nearly impossible for cancer patients to receive adequate treatment as a result of the social and economic consequences of the war, the scarcity of treatment options and challenges in procuring essential drugs. The number of cancer patients in need of treatment in Idlib and surrounding areas under the control of the Syrian National Army amounts to 3,200.
