Pop trio Emblem3 is launching its first U.S. tour since becoming a Sony Music artist. The tour kicks off on Feb. 27, 2013, at The Roxy in West Hollywood, Calif.., and continues through March 27, 2013, at House of Blues in Chicago. Emblem3‘s official website has more information and ticket sales for the tour, whose concert dates on the East Coast and Midwest go on sale as of March 2, 2013, at 10 a.m. EST.
Emblem3 came in fourth place on “The X Factor” U.S. in 2012. As previously reported, Emblem3 now signed to Mr. Kanani/Syco Music/Columbia Records (which are all Sony Music labels), and the group’s Sony Music debut album is being executive produced by Savan Kotecha, who has co-written hits for several artists, including Britney Spears, Usher, Westlife, as well as “X Factor” U.K. alumni One Direction, Cher Lloyd and Alexandra Burke.
Emblem3’s album (whose songs, title and release date are to be announced) will be the first release from Mr. Kanani, which is Kotecha’s label imprint. According to Columbia Records, the first single from the album will be out sometime in March 2013.
The three members of Emblem3 are Drew Chadwick (who is 20) and brothers Wesley Stromberg (who is 19) and Keaton Stromberg (who is 16). The group is originally from Sequim, Wash., but is now based in Huntington Beach, Calif.
