EU President Vows Punishing Consequences Against Italy, Over Voting in Pro-Russia Government

WEF member and unelected EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has openly admitted that if Italy dares to elect a “right-wing” (non-WEF) government, “the EU has the tools needed” to deal with that problem.

Ursula von der Leyen issued the barely veiled threat of “consequences” ahead of Sunday’s election that a conservative bloc led by Giorgia Meloni is expected to win.

The EU is now getting more and more divided over the issue of Russia as Hungary is openly pro-Russia, and Italy is about to follow suit as Meloni has already openly declared her love for Russia.

The comments highlighted concern in the corridors of power in the WEF and EU over the forthcoming election and suggested that relations between Brussels and Rome could get turbulent if Meloni and her partners secure victory.

“My approach is that whatever democratic government is willing to work with us, we’re working together,” von der Leyen said at Princeton University in the United States on Thursday, responding to a question on whether there were any concerns with regard to the upcoming elections in Italy.

“If things go in a difficult direction, I’ve spoken about Hungary and Poland, we have tools,” she added.

Per Reuters: Matteo Salvini, the head of the League and a part of Meloni’s conservative alliance, denounced her comments as “shameful arrogance”.

“What is this, a threat?” he wrote on Twitter. “Respect the free, democratic and sovereign vote of the Italian people!”

Von der Leyen apparently was referring to last Sunday’s recommendation by the European Commission to suspend some 7.5 billion euros in funding for Hungary over corruption, the first such case in the 27-nation bloc under a new sanction meant to better protect the rule of law.

The EU introduced the financial sanction two years ago in response to what it says amounts to the undermining of democracy in Poland and Hungary, where Prime Minister Viktor Orban subdued courts, media, NGOs and academia, as well as restricting the rights of migrants, gay people and women during more than a decade in power.

The European Union needs to tackle these pro-Russia countries the right way. These countries are turning towards Russia not because they need gas because in the end you can find alternative sources for gas but because the EU has gone simply way too liberal. Insane level of liberal. The EU needs to open up and embrace European Christian, traditional values as well not just liberal “values” like endless Muslim immigration, transgender and all this nonsense or else it risks breaking apart entirely.

The EU already lost a valuable member, Great Britain and lets not fool ourselves. The UK didn’t leave the EU because of some random reasons. The UK left under the leadership of Nigel Farage mostly because of non-European invasion. They simply got tired of being invaded by Arabs, Pakis, Africans, Indians. Let’s be opened about it and say it as it is and not dance around the bushes trying to be polite as this doesn’t help us solve any issues. Now if the EU doesn’t slow down, stop and even reverse some of this insanity, it simply risks breaking apart entirely. Ok, today you sanction, the UK, tomorrow Hungary, then Italy and so on. Keep it going until what? Until Belgium is left as the only EU member??? Belgium will sanction the entire European continent? rofl

The EU needs to accept these changes and it needs to find a balance. It needs to understand that many have had enough. Many simply do not want to see some random brown faces on the streets, raping, killing, stealing, etc.

Aside from reversing this invasion insanity, we need to work with these rebellious countries and make them understand that we understand their frustrations but Russia is not gonna solve their problems. Russia is not Jesus. Russia is not their savior. Russia is only looking for its own selfish interests. Russia isn’t gonna stop the hoards of immigrants. In fact Russia is guilty of the same sin. Furthermore Russia invented it. They were the first globalists with their multicultural Eurasian empire! This could help keep the EU glued together despite our differences.
