Fire breaks out at Danish palace as Charles and Camilla eat dinner

Sofie Grabol, the lead actress from the television show The Killing, was
invited to the dinner as a treat for the Duchess, who is an avid watcher of
the programme.

“It’s a little bit fun, and really unexpected that they’re fans,” Ms Grabol
told Denmark’s state television channel on Monday. “It’s the ultimate proof
that the series reaches a broad audience, both high and low.”

On Tuesday, together with Princess Mary, the Australian wife of Denmark’s
Crown Prince Frederik, the Duchess plans to visit the studios where the
third season of the crime series is being filmed.

The Prince of Wales and his wife began their Royal Jubilee tour of Scandinavia
in Norway at the start of last week, spending Thursday to Sunday in Sweden
and arriving in Denmark on Monday.

The royal couple were whisked from the Copenhagen’s Kastrup airport to
Kronborg castle in Helsingor, the setting for Shakespeare’s Hamlet, where
they joined actors in a drama workshop.

They then visted the Kastellet Citadel, the base of the Danish Army in
Copenhagen, where they laid a wreath at a memorial for Danish soldiers.
