One contestant, though, certainly had the confidence to take him all the way, and it’s only the first day. Royce was so full of himself, he referred to himself throughout the episode in the third person.
“Royce can make spaghetti,” he declared. “Royce can make squab. Royce can make anything. I got this!” Only he didn’t. And he couldn’t.
After Ramsay sampled Royce’s spaghetti, he called it “crunchy” and threw Royce out of the kitchen. But it wasn’t enough to get Royce thrown from the show — yet. But that’s because it was a disastrous dinner service for everyone.
Both the men’s team and the women’s team failed to send out a single entree, while the men really didn’t manage to get anything going right, and so they have to nominate their weakest links. But they don’t even get that right.
They guys send out Tayvon and Don, but Ramsay corrects them. Tayvon and Royce are their weakest links, but in the end he keeps Royce alive for another week. Will the experience humble him? Will he stick to first person from here on out?

Fox has a double-bill of new dating shows from 8-10 p.m. on Thursday, starting with “Take Me Out.” We’re more intrigued by the unabashed “Voice” rip-off “The Choice,” which sees celebrities such as DJ Pauly D, Romeo, Jeremy Bloom and Jason Cook take to the spinning chairs to choose attractive singles to take on a date, sight unseen. It kind of ignores “The Voice’s” central premise, since all of the single contestants are supposedly attractive and thus not in need of a blind audition, but it should have some novelty value.

Reid, along with her fellow doctors, press on to save his life and those of their other patients as they deal with the complicated and courageous decisions that are made in their daily struggle to keep hope alive.

Whether it’s a creepy sighting of the Rougarou (“shape-shifting swamp monster”), a distressed neighbor reporting a stolen air conditioner during a heat wave, or a lead on a gruesome local serial-killer case; the deeper into the sticky swampland the deputies delve, the stranger and more mysterious the calls become.
