FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda In a Monday meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Asif Ali Zardari in the Tajik capital, Dushanbe, President Ahmadinejad also said that Iran would welcome plans to curb terrorism and narco-trafficking.
The Iranian chief executive lauded as “prudent and useful” the approaches adopted by Tehran and Islamabad to resolve Afghanistan’s issues.
He further stated that a tripartite summit of Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan, recently held in Islamabad on regional cooperation and developments, played a very good role in building up confidence.
Zardari, for his part, renewed a call on the regional countries to unite and help settle the Afghans’ issues, saying peace will not be restored in the war-torn country unless all regional states bolster their collective cooperation.
The Pakistani leader also called for Sino-Russian cooperation to find ways to solve the problems in Afghanistan.
On Monday, the Iranian president criticized the United Nations over a lack of a “clear and specific” approach to Afghanistan and warned that the war-battered country is faced with “serious and complicated” issues.
