Israelis killed 4 Palestinians on Christmas Eve

Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli occupation forces marked the Palestinian Christmas Eve with the killing of four Palestinians across the occupied West Bank.

Israeli occupation forces stormed the Palestinian refugee camp of Qalandia and cracked down on Palestinians protested against Israeli violence.

Medical sources said that one Palestinian protester was killed and at least ten Palestinians were wounded by Israeli live and steel-coated-with-rubber bullets.

The Palestinians, who was killed, was identified as 23-year-old Bilal Zayid, and he is the fourth Palestinian killed by the Israeli occupation forces since the early morning of Thursday.

Hours earlier, another Qalandia refugee camp resident was killed by Israeli occupation forces fire after his vehicle had been collided near the illegal Gevat Benyamin Settlement.

The driver was identified as Wisam abu-Ghwaila, 22. Israeli occupation army claimed that an Israeli soldier was “very lightly wounded” in the incident.

In the early morning, the Israeli occupation forces shot dead the Palestinian worker Iyad Id’ees, 25, at the Israeli military checkpoint of Ari near Al-Khalil.

According to the Israeli army spokesperson, the Palestinian was shot after he had attempted to stab Israeli soldiers with a screwdriver, but the Palestinian witnesses in the scene stressed that he was shot at a very far distance of the Israeli soldiers.

Less than an hour before the killing of Id’ees, the Israeli occupation forces killed a Palestinian worker in the illegal Israeli settlement of Ariel, north of the West Bank city of Salfit.

The Palestinian was identified as Mohamed Zahran, 22, and he was left bleeding inside the settlement until he died.
