I think it is time to lose the shipping pallets. At ICFF, the Villeroy and Boshe booth was cute, putting the most expensive bath hardware on pallets. But it took up a lot of space.

At the very popular Core77 All City All Stars opening reception, people were lined up around the block; they couldn’t get in because the entire store was filled with, you guessed it, pallets.

There is no question, they made a great display for the likes of Ruta Reifen,

They make a good base for Jeremyville’s Hieronymus, the Bunny of the Apocalypse. It may have all been fine for the show that ran all weekend, but it sure took up a lot of space at the opening.

Around the corner at 22 Bond Street, there was a lot more room to look at BER-JFK, where sixteen designers and creative studios from Berlin showcased their latest objects and projects. I really liked Ronen Kadushin‘s Hack chair.

Our friends at Areaware were partying there; this year they present a new line of ipad and iphone holders shaped like hands.
