Awake Goy Le Pen, Macron Advance: Mainstream Parties Eliminated, Ruling Socialist Party Finishes 5th
Upheaval: Establishment parties in France ELIMINATED in first round

Populist favorite Marine Le Pen and globalist-leaning centrist Emmanuel Macron will both advance to the second round of the French presidential election, while the ruling Socialist Party finishes an embarrassing fifth place.

At the time of this writing, Macron and Le Pen lead at 23.7% and 21.7% respectively, and the top two finishers in the first round of the election advance to the second round.
Both the traditional, mainstream political parties in France, the Les R publicains and the Parti Socialiste, were eliminated in the first round.
This is an upheaval; both of these parties have held significant power since the end of World War II.
That said, despite Macron’s status as an outsider, he is attracting more and more establishment support from globalist politicians.
Macron advocates pushing France further under EU control, while Le Pen wants to leave the unelected bloc altogether.
This was the first election in Frances modern history to take place under a state of emergency, and polling stations were heavily guarded by police after the recent terror attack in Paris.
The second round is scheduled for May 7.
Early results for all the 11 candidates (top two advance to second round):
Emmanuel Macron (centrist) 23.7%
Marine Le Pen (far-right) 21.7%
Jean-Luc M lenchon (far-left) 19.5%
Fran ois Fillon (mainstream conservative) 19.5%
Benoit Hamon (mainstream liberal) 6.2%
Nicolas Dupont-Aignan (nationalist) 5%
Jean Lassalle (centrist) 1.5%
Philippe Poutou (far-left) 1.2%
Fran ois Asselineau (nationalist) 0.8%
Nathalie Arthaud (far-left) 0.7%
Jacques Ceminade (centrist) 0.2%
