These numbers just keep going up. Merkel literally invited these people. Unlimited numbers of them.

So, it isn’t surprising. They are told they will all get mansions for free. Germany is presently doing their best to put them all in mansions.

The really incredible thing is that Merkel is publicly blaming other people for this, saying no one is helping her with a decision she made unilaterally and illegally.

And no one will call her out on it.

More migrants and refugees have braved the Mediterranean crossing from Turkey to Greece so far this week than ever before, despite worsening weather conditions, the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) announced yesterday (Friday).

In the last six days, more than 56,000 people, mostly Syrians, were recorded arriving on Lesbos, Chios and other Greek islands, the highest weekly total of the year.

*Mostly claiming to be Syrians.

There is no real evidence that the majority of these people are actually from Syria, and a whole lot of evidence to the contrary.

But at this point, no one really has any idea.

The figures are raising fears of more drownings in heavy seas and worsening health risks to survivors who arrive cold and wet as temperatures drop.

Meanwhile, the prospect of the flow of refugees heading across southern and eastern Europe in ever greater numbers is worsening European Union arguments about how to manage them.

You fear them drowning and also fear them landing.

Hmm.

Germany’s chanceller, Angela Merkel, who caused shock-waves by guaranteeing asylum to Syrians who made it there, has authorised a tougher new policy starting from today(Saturday).

Those from other countries adjudged to be economic migrants will be deported much more quickly, while those from countries considered safe, including Kosovo, Albania and Montenegro, will be rejected automatically.

She is now acting like she didn’t expect this.

How could she have known?

“We want to get better quickly, within the year, at deporting those whose applications have been refused and who have no right to stay,” Peter Altmaier, the national refugee co-ordinator, said.

Slovenia said it was considering fencing off its border with Croatia. “We can not receive so many refugees in such a small period of time. It’s just unbearable,” Miro Cerar, the prime minister, said at a refugee camp.

As well as Syria, many refugees are from Iraq and Afghanistan. But officials from the IOM and the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) say there is no clear reason for the continued rise in numbers fleeing beyond the intensification of the three-way conflict between the Assad regime, rebels and Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.

Yeah, it can’t be that people are pouring in from everywhere because they are being offered infinity welfare.

Don’t believe your lying eyes, goyim.

Refugees have told The Daily Telegraph that the worsening situation in Syria this year, where the war has spread to areas previously little affected, has not only sent more families into exile but triggered a sense of desperation among the more than four million people already living in refugee camps and camped out on hill-sides in neighbouring countries.

“It’s been clear for some months that the conflict has been escalating on all fronts,” Ariane Rummery, of the UNHCR, said. “People can see no end to the war and this is driving the movement.”

But let’s keep avoiding finding any type of solution to the Syrian crisis because… because Assad is evil for reasons no one has explained.

Meanwhile, masked vigalates are attacking the boats.

Armed masked men around the Greek islands have been targeting migrant boats and turning them back, sometimes throwing their engines away, according to a damning HRW report. This follows witness claims of Greek border guards refusing asylum seekers entry.

The report bases its findings on nine witness testimonies detailing cases of masked, often armed, assailants intercepting boats off the Aegean Sea coast, which are usually headed from neighboring Turkey carrying refugees from the Syrian war.

The most recent case allegedly took place on October 7 and 9, when the attackers allegedly disabled the engines of several boats and even punctured holes in their inflatable hulls. Some of the boats were towed back into Turkish waters.

There is virtually no guarantee any of the people would survive such conditions. This has prompted an outcry from Human Rights Watch, whose Greece specialist, Eva Cosse, says these “criminal actions require an urgent response from the Greek authorities.”

Speaking to HRW, a 17-year-old Afghan refugee recounted how the passengers in the boat he was on had felt when they were captured by a boat containing five masked men in balaclavas carrying guns. Their rubber dinghy, filled to the brim with women and children, had set off from the Turkish shore at Assos headed for the Greek island of Lesbos.

They were intercepted 30 minutes into their journey. “At first when they approached, we thought they had come to help us,” Ali told HRW. “But by the way they acted, we realized they hadn’t come to help. They were so aggressive. They didn’t come on board our boat, but they took our boat’s engine and then sped away.”

There is a parallel to the recent Darth Vader sword attack in Sweden. Of course, attacking a boat is not good, just as slicing up an immigrant school is not good. But when you create these types of conditions on purpose, you have to expect a backlash.

Any rational person can see that the initial policy is responsible for the distasteful backlash, and that it is the initial policy which needs addressed.
