FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda Sunday’s accident raised the death toll from major road accidents to 70 in a week in the impoverished Himalayan country, AFP reported.
The vehicle, which was travelling from the town of Butwal towards a remote Sandhikharka valley, 380 kilometers southwest of Kathmandu, when the driver could not keep his hold over it and the bus fell 100 meters (330 feet) into the Dahakhola river.
“Nine men and six women are among the dead and five seriously injured passengers are undergoing treatment at a local hospital,” Argakhachi district police inspector Chandra Kumar Thapa said.
He added, “The bus was 12 kilometers from its destination but (the driver) speeding on the hilly road caused the accident.”
On Monday night, 16 people died when a bus veered off the road and plunged into a river in central Nepal.
On Saturday, 39 Hindu pilgrims lost their lives when an overcrowded bus taking them from neighboring India to a Hindu festival in southern region of the country fell into a deep river. Women and a small girl were also among the dead.
Accidents often take place in the landlocked South Asian country because of poor roads, badly maintained vehicles, and because of careless driving.
In July, the monsoon season begins in Nepal, when rivers overflow and roads become slippery, turning its mountainous terrain extremely dangerous for the vehicles.
