Recently a report by Wired magazine revealed the details of a spy center in Bluffdale, Utah. It says that the National Security Agency has turned its surveilance apparatus on the US and its citizens, including phone calls and emails. This week the NSA chief testified to Congress and took questions about his agency’s ability – both legally and physically – to spy on US citizens and denied that this is happening. Trevor Timm, an activist with the Electronic Frontier Foundation believes otherwise – he brings his take on the issue.

I have it on very good authority that the entire population of the NSA is engaged 27/7 in fierce games of Tiddlywinks competition. The tension can be felt all the way to Cheyenne Mountain, where an entirely different branch of Government is engaged full-time in monitoring the psychological well-being of NSA staff back East. And – little did you know – a hot piece of legislation is secretly making its way to the House Sub-committee on Absolute BS – American citizens suspected of having sex with robots will face life imprisonment. Your outrage is encvoursged here, a few avenues of expression/activism will be conveniently provided, as meanwhile ben Bernanke The Backstreet Boys make off with a few more tens of trillions. The betterr to survive you, my dearies.
