Jalili also stated the Islamic Awakening has provided a suitable ground for the activation of potential capacities of regional nations against the Zionist regime of Israel.
Before meeting with Jalili, Atta met with the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Monday.
“Tehran and Khartoum can take effective steps for the benefit of both nations and for the establishment of peace and security and the promotion of justice and brotherhood in the region and the world by bolstering relations and coordination,” Ahmadinejad said in the meeting.
The Iranian president said the enemies have mobilized all their might to dominate these nations.
“Undoubtedly, through awareness and steadfastness of independent and justice-seeking nations, the day will come when all plots and seditions of arrogant powers will be foiled and humanity will live in peace and brotherhood,” he added.
Ahmadinejad also stated the two nations should use their existing capacities to increase bilateral and international cooperation.
“The two countries have various capacities for the expansion of bilateral relations and by activating them, they can work toward well-being and progress of both nations,” he said.
The Sudanese official, for his part, submitted written message of Sudan’s President Omar al-Bashir and stressed the necessity of further expansion of bilateral and regional cooperation between Tehran and Khartoum.
