(NaturalNews) Ron Paul makes a groundbreaking admission to the public on tape – that the FDA and Big Pharma are indeed “in bed together,” both building up their monopolies and only interested in making more money. The Republican presidential candidate confirms that the corrupt corporations are running the show, that the FDA is doing more harm than good and many other eye-opening admittances.

Ron Paul: It never works that way. You know, your safety and your drugs, for instance, it sounds like a reasonable thing. You want safety in your drugs. But the FDA and the drug companies are in bed together and they squeeze out competitions and build up their monopolies and they love government medicine because they make more money. The insurance companies and the drug companies, whether it’s Democrats or Republicans reforming the medical care system, these corporations run the show. You know, they support it, it’s because the government doesn’t take it over. It’s the corporations that end up taking over. So, it’s well intended but I think it always backfires on us and that the people we’re wanting to regulate end up writing their own regulations.
Reporter: So in that particular case would the reasonable alternative being no FDA?
Ron Paul: I think so because, I don’t think, I think they’ve done more harm than good because sometimes it might take them 25 years to allow a good drug to come onto the marketplace and the rules and regulations inhibits the options of the physician to use drugs for anything other than not approved by the FDA, which means it slows up research and the cost goes up and then when it’s approved by the FDA, guess what happens? If you’re on the inside track of that- I’m the FDA- today I approve this drug, tomorrow, their drug company’s value, their stock goes up fifty fold. Just because a bureaucrat made this decision. So, it’s a protection of the corporation is basically what it is. People weren’t dying from bad drugs before we had the FDA. I mean, it just didn’t happen. There’d be other agencies that would do this. There’d be no reason to assume that all of a sudden, the drug companies have it in their interest to give you a bad drug.
Reporter: Well, I’m not sure what fits in there and it’s hard to prove a negative, but are you assuming that there are no bad drugs

Ron Paul: There’s plenty of bad drugs, and the FDA’s permitted a lot of them to get on the market, too. I mean bad drugs on the market now. Did you ever see a PDR? They’re about that big and about half of them are useless. But if it’s FDA approved- and what does the FDA do when it comes to alternative or natural products? The FDA and the drug industry keeps them off the market. A natural drug product, alternative health care, freedom of choice, it is obstructed from those making those free choices. So it’s there to protect the drug industry. They very often do exactly the opposite. I believe in free choice on picking alternative care rather than having it licensed through the FDA and these drug approvals. It delays, it costs so many- this is one reason why drug costs are so high, because it goes through years and years and years of litigation and getting approval, and that’s a source of making drug costs much higher in cost.
Reporter: So how did we get to this mess? Let’s just stick with FDA or go with Nuclear Regulatory Commission, but how is it that this body of burdensome regulations was allowed to develop? Is it parts of the private sector finding ways to protect themselves or what?
Ron Paul: I don’t know, I haven’t done a detailed history of exactly this but my assumption would be that it’d be a lot of well noted people saying, well, we need these regulations to help the people and protect the people. But those individuals and the companies that are involved immediately leap to it and take over and find out how they can keep out their competition. What industry it is, whether it’s the housing industry, housing insurance, it’s always to squeeze the little guy out and protect the big industries. Competition serves the competitor who is trying to compete with big industry, and I don’t like to see government protecting big industries and big corporations.

Worked for a pharmaceutical. Don’t take prescription or over the counter drugs. They are very addictive and they are slowly poisioning you.. You will eventually die taking these. They are very TOXIC to your liver. Your Dr’s are your biggest pushers. They prescribe medications that you don’t really need. They tell you that you need to take them.YOU DON’T. It is one huge orgy. Ron Paul is right on about the FDA. Big Pharma makes Big Profits. If people only knew about the lavish mega events that are held all over the world by Big Pharma to sell “doctors” on the latest drugs… they would hurl. The FDA is a literal revolving door agency filled with lobbyists and “doctors” from big Pharma.
Then you have the large pharmacy chains who make billions from people buying all this toxic Big Pharma stuff. They have recently been running on TV these massive commercial blitzes by lawyers for people who took Accutane to control their acne. Many have been left permanently damaged from trusting their dermatologists and taking the drug. (The Accutane studies were done by Big Pharma, rubber stamped by the FDA) Then there is another commercial about mothers who were taking SSRI anti-depressants during pregnancy and gave birth to children with horrible deformities. (These studies were done by Big Pharma and rubber stamped by the FDA.)
Of course, it would be unfair to overgeneralize because there are many fine doctors in specific fields. However, it general, it is a synergistic feeding frenzy. Allopathic medical doctors are ALWAYS reimbursed by the Big Insurers who always reimburse FDA rigger Big Pharma. One hand feeds the other. It pretty much has been this way throughout the 20th century.
My point is this. Big Pharma is in bed with the FDA and they are having one big orgy of profits. The allopaths (traditional medical doctors) are in bed with the Major Insurers. The lawyers do data dredging on all new drugs people have taken and make mucho bucks in individual or class action suits suing the bad Big Pharma.
Everyone seems to be doing very well from FDA/Big Pharma on the front end and on the back end. The patient, oh well, just part of the profit train. They told you it was safe. They were wrong. There was no independent blind clinical study performed by the FDA.
Doctors should do what my doctor does. This fine physician who holds two PhD’s in medicine and does the following: A drug salesperson wants to book an appointment or do a cold call drive by. The drug salesperson is told the doctor is too busy (which is the truth) to see drug sales people. This physician also does not attend lavish Big Pharma drug parties. It is very easy for a doctor to read abstracts on new medications introduced and for him or herself to determine efficacy based on medical research available on the Net.
Big Pharma wants a lock on Big Profits and the FDA. The trend of recent medical school graduates is to move away from this and practice both traditional and holistic medicine, and keeping an open mind. The FDA, aren’t those the people who say GMO foods are perfectly safe?
They got lots of money to spread around to doctors.
They will have even more after Obamacare kicks in.
Then the government will FORCE us to pay for insurance policy that won’t cover treatment for what we have.

This issue represents a big disconnect in the minds of the majority.
We’ve all heard that Big Pharma is in bed with the FDA, we all know it. And just about everyone says if a real, natural cure for cancer actually exists, that the drug companies would supress that fact by every and any means possible.
How many times do we hear and say these things whenever the subject comes up?
Now here is where the big disconnect comes in. The FDA and Big Pharma just keeps marching on and on, the same as terrorism, tyranny, and the national dept, not to mention war along with all the other profiteering and racketeering machinations built to scheme and chase after the all mighty dollar.
The truth is, the FDA serves as one of the essential gears inside of those profiteering and racketeering machinations chasing after the buck. Now just immagine this machination in many ways resembles a hungry wolf chasing people. Does it matter which component the FDA represents such as head and teeth, body, or the bunghole of that wolf?
The FDA IMO represents the bung hole, but it doesn’t really matter because it’s still a part of the same wolf. To prove my point, immagine that a wolf ate someone. Ok, the teeth would bite into you and chew you up, but always remember, the bones that get swallowed have got to pass out through the wolf’s bunghole and that’s all the evidence you need to prove that the FDA is really in on it.
So now that we all know this and have heard it a million times, why does it continue to go on and on as it does? I’ll tell you why it goes on and on and it’s for the same reason nets are made for catching fish.

Did you ever hear of the Houston doctor Burzinski? He has a cure for cancer that doesn’t cause the awful side effects of chemo radiation and IT WORKS! FDA —working on behalf of BIG PHARMA attacked the doctor, indicted him 5 times, raided his operation twice….spent $60 million of our tax dollars doing it and NEVER had one charge that stuck………it was 100% harrassment….the FDA is so rotten, so corrupt that they would prefer we all die a slow, terrible cancer death using chemo-life killing drugs than EVER allow an honest doctor to challenge BIG PHARMA huge profits …………FDA is the sworn enemy of we the people……..they are 100% criminal…just as is Big Pharma…………they should all be in jail….

I know it seems that way tyre3d, but there are lots of good reporters out there. The problem is that their editors don`t let them report on important issues because the media platform or outlet they work for are owned by monopoly men who don`t want the truth to be reported on. I had a well known reporter for KGO, an ABC TV affiliate in my cab and I asked him why there was nothing in the media about it. His father was then coach of the 49ers football team. He told me he wanted to cover the story about one of the biggest elite power groups on the planet and he said his boss told him to “forget about it”. He told me that he wasn`t allowed to report on many newsworthy items that would have brought to light many goings on that these corrupt individuals were conspiring on against the best interests of the american people. Stay completely away from “Made In America” for starters. Go to markets that sell food, medicinal items, and such that say “This Product Has Not Been FDA Approved”. Rely first on centuries old traditions that have stood the test of time. If you do not have such markets/stores in your neck of the woods, them go online and purchase them and have them shipped directly to you. America is a toxic $hithole.
Why does Paul support nuclear energy/ nuclear industry?

So do you want ‘wild’ green organics or do you want land specifically set aside to farm/harvest organic products?
If you want “organics” then there is obviously going to have to be a steady supply.
If you want wild products that have time-proven, productive health benfits that can be found in the Amazon forests, Indonesia, India and many other places, then they are going to have to be prtotected inorder for them to thrive..and in some casee to even protect the species from goin extinct.
On the other hand, if human development projects continue their exapnsions..then of course there will need to be lands set aside to farm / harvest / sell such items. This is a fundamental predicament the world is in.
In India where many many Ayrurvedic organic items grow in the wild, they are coming under extreme threats due to human sprawl and loss of habitat. The same is going on in Indonesia where Jaum is the staple of organic medicines. And it is happening the world over.
And unfortunately along with this, you have big business and stock-market rooted businesses that are sticking hteir big schnozes in there aw well and turning organics into big biz. When that happens, that is when the whole grass roots movement of gree/organics is lost. It turns into a strictly profit-driven movement and thne the stampede is on.
And again, if the situation forces such organic products to be farmed, then of course there are going to be all sorts of guildelines from somebody(s).
If there was 640 acres of vacant land, people would imagine all sorts of uses fir it. Some would say leave it as is. Some would say to zione it commercial for jobs. Some would say zone it for residetial use for homes / condos / apartments. Some may just say use it to plant neem trees or an almond tree orchard. Some may say turn it into a park.
I am not sure it matters anymore here in the good ole’ U.S. With all the chemtrails and pesticides that we are constantly be exposed to, I wonder just how “Organic” the organic products we are buying really are.

Very good point and Nueman I talked on that briefly last week. Even wild organics are having pollutants that businesses spew out rain down on them. Plants have a good filtering system but still.
I used to be an avid hunter fishermen when I lived in Michigan up until 1997. I got tired of all the weekend warriors tramoin around and it was gettin pretty damn crowded and dangerous out there. And I think back to on all the turkey and deer I killed and ate that more likely than not had ingested toxic cron and soy beans, and drank from creeks and pools of water in crop fields that were full of crap.
Yes, there really is no longer any real, clean, 100% healthy products on this planet any longer. Some are safe than others probably but all in some way fall under the dome of this toxic planet.
There is still the predicament though on ‘wild’ organic products versus farm harvested organics. Either way, both requires land usage in order to supply demand.

To me, what the FDA doens’t approve of is the actual cannabis plant for example which like other plants, tomatoe, spinach, etc. cannot be patented. they prohibit that or your doctors don’t ever advocate real nutrition via diet while seeking synthetic forms to be sold in pills like marinol for their control. They love selling you man made chemicals or toxins than to truly advocate what we are, nature.
I see the FDA first as a big money-making enterprise. Many times if a busines in another country wants to export say alma ( goose berry from India which is probably the most potent anti-oxidant there is ), they have to get FDA approval. However, this is not always the case. A company can opt to not get FDA approval and still sell their products in the U.S.
There are 2 Asian markets I go to down the road and 3 Indian markets I go to. On these Indian Ayurvedic bottles they say on their labels in large letters, ” THIS PRODUCT HAD NOT BEEN FDA APPROVED”. I dont need FDA approval for what I purchase.
Most Americans are conditioned into reading that a product has been FDA approved and will only buy it after seeing that on the labels.
