Charlie Rose had Shell Oil President Marvin Odum on his CBS show this morning, and he said a lot of pro-oil, pro-industry things (and refuses to call a subsidy a subsidy). But in the middle of the interview, buried in the middle of an answer, he also makes a statement that puts him on Obama’s side in the gas price war that Republicans have waged against the president.
Watch him here, where at minute 2:23, he says: “There is no immediate fix for the price of oil today.”
