FAKE NEWS: False images about Syria have been spread to hundreds of thousands by the ‘Did You Know?’ group on Facebook.
As the battle to liberate East Ghouta continues in Syria, the West’s disinformation campaign has been ramped-up, including the creation and dissemination of fraudulent images which Facebook has allowed to be shared over 150,000 times.
Robert Inlakesh, a Canadian advocate for Palestine, shows how the Facebook Group called “Did You Know?“ has been spreading faked imaged attributing Gaza 2014 bombings to Syria – in order to demonize the Syrian government and its president Bashar al-Assad. Watch:
