A teenager has been arrested following the stabbing of another boy in Sydney’s southwest.
A 17-year-old boy approached police in Casula for help just after 5pm (AEST) on Sunday, after he was stabbed multiple times in his abdomen.
He was taken to Liverpool Hospital, where he underwent surgery and is now in a stable condition.
Detectives arrested a 16-year-old boy at a house in Edmondson Park about 3am on Monday.
He was taken to Liverpool Police Station, where he is assisting police with their inquiries.
