One thing that was mentioned in yesterdays exchange with the Doc was the thing with Jerry Lewis.
From Pirate News : ‘…. by Dr Joel Wallach, who said last year he gave actor/comedian Jerry Lewis the govt research Dr Wallach did back in 1978, that discovered the nutritional cure for Muscular Dystrophy. Jerry Lewis gave this cure to his MD Foundation, where Jerry Lewis has done the TV Telethon for 45 years. In retaliation, the MD Foundation immediately fired Jerry Lewis, because the MD Foundation is a Mafia organization stealing billions of dollars in donations that cares nothing about helping MD victims. ‘
I have a background in medicine (as a former pathology assistant), but am generally skeptical of Medical Doctors (and Veterinarians as well). My two year old son has had few vaccinations, no antibiotics, no fluoride and was breastfed for 24 months.
Having said that, I think it is presumptious (at best) to offer medical advice over the telephone having never met a patient. I hope that ALL of the callers seeking medical advice on the show will seek out second, third and fourth opinions before deciding the best course of treatment for themselves.
It’s important to be an educated participant in your health care, and now that nearly everyone has access to internet search engines, there is really no excuse to NOT do your homework.
